Canadian singer-songwriters JUNNY, Ethan Low, and Koven Wei are slated to perform on December 1 at Matches, a 1-day mini festival at Catch One, the Los Angeles equivalent of Broadway’s Studio 54.
Songwriter-turned-K-pop sensation JUNNY has a knack for writing catchy tunes, and having written music for the biggest names in K-pop like IU, EXO, and NCT, he made his debut as a singer in 2017 with his EP Monochrome. His music delves into personal topics and draws influences from indie pop, early 2000s R&B, and acoustic ballads, and he wrapped up a North American tour last year and an Asia tour just this past week.
After going viral on TikTok in 2022 for his original music, Ethan Low has since garnered a sizable fanbase for his R&B tracks, and his first single “BUBBLY” landed at #5 on Spotify’s global viral chart. In the past year, he’s landed gigs opening for JUNNY and Korean rapper GEMINI, as well as performing at the Los Angeles Expo Showcase in August this year.
Having opened for CAMO and JUNNY and co-headlined with Ethan Low, Koven Wei is making his mark in the Asian American music scene with his blend of rap, hip-hop, hyperpop, and punk rock.
