Due to the overwhelming success of their recent U.S. tours, TWICE will be coming back to the States for another special one-night-only encore concert as part of their READY TO BE tour. Set to take place on March 16th, the girl group will be performing their first show in Las Vegas at the Allegiant Stadium.
TWICE debuted with their first EP, The Story Begins, and title song, “Like OOH-AHH,” in 2015. The EP peaked at number 3 on the Gaon Album Chart, and it wasn’t until their second EP, Page Two, that the group began to see widespread commercial success. Page Two‘s title song “Cheer Up” shot the girls to viral fame, topping charts internationally and domestically, winning the group two Song of the Year awards, and earning them the nickname, “Nation’s Girl Group.”
Since then, TWICE has embarked on four world tours, released several EPs and albums, and promoted internationally with Japanese albums and English singles. Recently, the girl group has also started to promote individually, with Nayeon and Jihyo releasing solo albums, and Japanese members Mina, Sana, and Momo releasing songs as a trio known as MiSaMo. Their current READY TO BE tour has already seen more than 300,000 fans in attendance in North America and Europe alone, and will wrap up with their show in Las Vegas.
