Experimental singer Hatis Noit sets out on a nine-show U.S. tour in March, bringing her distinctive fusion of traditional folk and modern classical vocal techniques to venues across the nation for the first time. The London-based Japanese singer layers her voice with a loop pedal and incorporates environmental sounds to build spatially immersive sonic structures, and her music feels futuristic, deeply primal, and ceremonial. Her artistic process is grounded in self-inquiry and connectedness, which allows her music to serve as a portal between the material and the spiritual.
She released her first EP, llogical Dance, in 2018 and her first album, Aura, in 2022. In between these releases, she completed a host of solo shows throughout Europe, including appearances at Milan Fashion Week 2018 and Manchester International Festival 2019.
Tickets and show details can be found on her website.
