Weeekly Announces First North American Tour

As discussed during our interview with the group, Weeekly will embark on their first North American tour. Beginning in early September, the tour will take the girls from Mexico to Canada and then across the U.S. from Florida to Los Angeles.

Weeekly debuted in June 2020 with their song “Tag Me” from their first mini album, We Are. With the goal of “bringing a new and special week every day,” the group featured bright and youthful concepts for their debut and follow-up tracks, such as their most popular title song “After School.” The group also participated in various survival shows from pre-debut to present, including YG Entertainment and JTBC’s Mix Nine, and Mnet’s Queendom Puzzle.

Most recently, the group released a special digital single, “Stranger,” in January of this year. The song was released in both Korean and English, with slightly different lyrics and meanings for each version, and is a song dedicated to the group’s fans, known as Daileee. Earlier this month, it was also announced that the group is preparing for a comeback with their sixth mini album, Bliss. The mini album will be released on July 9.
