Just two years ago, BURNOUT SYNDROMES made their first U.S. appearance and performance at the Crunchyroll Expo 2022. Now, they’ve just announced their 2024 U.S. tour, Good Morning [New] World. The tour will begin in Atlanta in mid-August and end in Los Angeles in early September.
Formed in 2005, the three-member Japanese rock band is well known for their anime music that have featured in shows like Haikyu!!, Gintama, and Dr. Stone. Vocalist and guitarist Kazuumi Kumagai (熊谷和海) and bassist Taiyu Ishikawa (石川大裕) were classmates through junior high, and Ishikawa was elementary school classmates with drummer Takuya Hirose (廣瀬拓哉). With the goal of gaining girls’ attention, the former classmates came together and formed BURNOUT SYNDROMES. Since then, the trio has continued to make all kinds of music to their personal taste.
