Billlie Closes Out Tour in LA with an “Enchanted Night”

December 27, 2024

This winter seven-member K-pop group, Billlie, embarked on their “Our FLOWERLD (Belllie’ve You)” 2024 World Tour, presented by Studio PAV. After a whirlwind month-long tour across 14 U.S. stops, the MYSTIC STORY girl group were ready to give it their all at their final show at LA’s Teragram Ballroom. Earlier in the day, they made an additional stop at The Source OC for a meet and greet event with a condensed 25-minute performance. Needless to say, they had just warmed up and were ready to take on their intense setlist.

Starting off with their debut song, “RING X RING,” the members appeared onstage in punk, grungy denim outfits. They were showered with deafening cheers from their fans, known as Belllie’ve, who packed the floor and shouted the lyrics. Despite the size of the stage, the seven members had no problem displaying their dancing prowess. During the bridge, the dance break highlighted TSUKI’s skills as the main dancer, especially when she flipped herself around in one smooth movement. Their next song, “flipp!ng a coin,” exemplified how Billlie’s dance choreography can be deceptively difficult: constant moving parts, shapes, and formations to match the high energy of their genre defying sound. For this performance, SIYOON took center stage and went all out with aggressive, energetic hits during the song’s bass drop.

Finally pausing to take a break at the end of their dance-heavy songs, the members introduced themselves while still catching their breath. “We were in LA two years ago, so this is our second time in LA! We felt it back then and we feel your passion now,” said HARAM. “We were able to open strong because of how loud you were all cheering,” followed SUHYEON. “Since this is our last stop, we’re going to give everything we got! I hope you guys enjoy it,” added SUA.

Before moving onto the next song, SHEON asked the audience to practice their chant together. When the members said, “Our FLOWERLD,” the crowd responded with, “Belllie’ve you” as a reference to the tour name. With that, they transitioned to their synthpop song, “EUNOIA.” The title track on their fourth mini album also required a lot of footwork. However, it splits the dance and vocal units up to give them their own moments to shine. As the maknae, HARUNA provided fanservice during her time in the center. The members were constantly on their feet, moving from formation to formation without stopping, even during the slower “enchanted night ~ white night.”

Taking a pause after four demanding tracks, the members divided themselves during the fan moments to give the crowd some special time with different combination units. Of course, when SUA asked if there were chants specific to LA, Belllie’ve began barking outloud. When HARUNA, TSUKI, and SHEON returned and TSUKI asked the audience, “What did you guys do?” the fans erupted into the same loud barks. HARUNA suggested that the LA Belllie’ve should also do a crowd wave since they had so much energy.

Since the first section of the concert concentrated on choreography, the latter section after the break highlighted the members’ vocal abilities. Even as the members stood in formation to concentrate on stability, they continued to keep the crowd on their toes with their ad-libs from “trampoline” to “BTTB (Back to the Basics).” During their next fan engagement, they obliged a request for them to sing a segment of “Patbingsu” since this was their last stop. Despite the chilly winter weather in the area, everyone wanted to get bingsu after that.

For the latter half of their concert after the dance and vocal unit stages, the members kept their hand mics even during choreography. SIYOON grabbed a chance to be flirtatious with fans during the slow track, “the eleventh day,” as she body rolled on the wall. She was one step ahead as the remaining four songs of the setlist went back to spotlighting their dance routines. Although it wasn’t a vocal heavy track, Belllie’ve sang “BYOB (bring your own best friend)” from start to finish, which impressed the members so much that they couldn’t stop smiling.

To soften the blow of ending their concert, TSUKI cutely sang “GingaMingaYo” as the lights dimmed ahead of their most anticipated song. Because TSUKI’s viral fancam of her expressive performance caught the attention of viewers worldwide, the other members gave it their all to be just as striking throughout their performance. Finally, the heavy rock chords of “RING ma Bell (what a wonderful world)” brought the main portion of the concert to the end.

Even if other groups usually spend their encore taking it easy, Billlie spent the remainder of their energy for a strong delivery of “snowy night” and “DOMINO ~ butterfly effect” before engaging in fanservice during the closer, “various and precious (moment of inertia).”

“You really made my day. We always try our best, so please look forward to it! I love you to the moon and back,” said SUHYEON. “I will never forget this moment that we shared together! Billlie exists because of your support, we’ll be back soon. Until then, please continue to support us! Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” closed SUA.
