Seven-member boy group, GHOST9, made their long-awaited return to the U.S. with their 2025 SHOW[K]ASE TOUR: THE NEW MIDNIGHT. After three years, fans, known as Ghosties, excitedly welcomed the members with heavy anticipation for their eruptive stage performances. Recently, the group has received additional attention due to member Prince’s hilarious TikTok videos. His on-the-nose commentary and sarcastically witty content captures the attention of K-pop fans and non-K-pop alike.
The K-pop music industry can be cruel and competitive, which makes Prince’s matter-of-fact tone so appealing. His unfiltered behind-the-scenes footage is the antithesis of the word “media trained,” but that’s what makes his influencer-like videos so appealing. Though, he likely has the backing of GHOST9’s management to upload this content onto their official account. Nonetheless, new fans whose first impressions were shaped by his videos were curious to see the group’s music and personalities for themselves.

Starting off the Valentine’s Day concert with their debut song, “Think of Dawn,” the seven members guaranteed any lonely hearts in the crowd that they will not be spending the night alone. Donning clothes reminiscent of a high-quality pilot uniform, the members were “Reborn” into a world of futuristic imagination with their high energy choreography. They continued to get Ghostie’s hearts pumping with “W.ALL” before switching up the mood with the melodic track, “Monday to Sunday.” For longtime fans, the song exudes a mood of nostalgia since it premiered during KCON’s KCONTACT4U in 2021, when the group still comprised of nine members.
Continuing the refreshing, romantic mood, Ghosties were treated to the sweet B-side track, “Love Parachute.” Before taking a moment to speak to the crowd, GHOST9 gave a rousing performance of their popular summer song, “Up All Night.” Time felt as if it was flying by as they reflected on their journey from debut to now. Recognizing it had been a while since they last came to Los Angeles, the members shared what they’ve been eating. Of course, it wouldn’t be a true visit to LA without commenting on the weather. Even though it was cold back in South Korea, the venue was burning hot.
Little did they—the audience and the members of GHOST9—know that the theater was about to double in temperature. Starting off the first solo stage, leader Junhyung surprised everyone as he took off his unzipped jacket to reveal his chiseled upper torso. Ghosties went wild as he caressed the microphone stand and gave an electrifying dance performance to his self-published R&B song, “How We Do.” His soulful vocals coupled with confident movements won the hearts of everyone in the venue. For other cities, like Atlanta, he switched up his stage with “Red Chevy”—another track self-published on Soundcloud—showcasing his vocal prowess by exercising his range.

Junseong, known for his participation on the 2019 survival show Produce X 101, performed Maroon 5’s candy sweet song, “Sugar.” Knowing how to work a crowd, he encouraged them to sing the ending with him before shuffling offstage.
“It is so hot in here,” commented GHOST9 after coming back onstage. Prince noted that even they didn’t know Junhyung was going to take off his jacket. “We thought he would give a little sneak peak, but it actually wasn’t a sneak peak,” he laughed. After some banter between the others, they got back into position. “Are you ready to turn up the energy again?”
The next section of the setlist focused on showcasing each member’s dance skills and their vocal control as they shuffled back and forth. Giving the crowd a moment to catch their breath from an exhilarating delivery of “X-Ray,” GHOST9 reminded everyone that they were “not done yet” before diving straight into the confident and aptly named song, “RUCKUS.”
“If you can give us a quick second, we’d like to refresh ourselves.” But they didn’t take long before they addressed the elephant in the room: “Anyways, it’s Valentine’s Day!” Prince brought his signature humor by asking who was single and who was not single. To those who have a partner, he gave them an unenthusiastic, “Congratulations!”
For the final section of the concert, the septet wrapped up the main portion with fan favorites: “I LUV IT,” “FEVER,” and the cheery “Awesome Day.” Making sure everyone in the venue had an unforgettable time, the seven men went into the crowd to give Ghosties some up-close fanservice. Calls for the encore began even before GHOST9 could go backstage to change into their tour shirts. Returning for two final songs, they closed out with a bow: “This has been GHOST9!”
