Founded in 1976, ChangMu Dance Company, which means “creating dance,” explores the fusion of traditional Korean dance and contemporary dance. The company is presenting their latest work, <HERE>, in the U.S. and will be performing at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Wednesday March 19, 2025 as part of White Bird’s 2024-2025 season. Melding Korean shamanic dance, Buddhist dance, folk dance, and court dance with contemporary sensibilities, the show is intended to be visually stunning and emotionally evocative.
