Filipino-Australian singer grentperez will be setting off on a North American tour starting this April. Performing 28 shows in the U.S. and three in Canada, the singer will tour for nearly two months for the North American leg.
grentperez is best known for his debut single, “Cherry Wine,” which he released in September 2021. Since his debut, he has consistently released more music each year, dropping his second and third EP in 2022, and his fourth in 2023. In 2024, the singer collaborated with Lyn Lapid for a single, “Room For You,” and he recorded a cover of “But Not for Me” by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin as part of the Chet Baker Re:imagined tribute album.
Most recently, the soloist announced the upcoming release of his studio album. Although he’s released several EPs and singles in the past, this will be his very first full studio album. Additionally, grentperez announced his upcoming tour of the same name to support the new release. The Backflips in a Restaurant album will drop on March 28, and his tour will begin April 21.
