K-pop soloist KAI will embark on his first solo U.S. tour in August and September. Titled KAION, a fusion of KAI and ON, with “AION” also meaning eternity in Greek, the tour will kick off in Los Angeles on August 28 and move east to wrap up in New York on September 6.
KAI first debuted in 2012 as the main dancer of EXO and sub-group EXO-K. Since then, he’s continued to promote with the group, as well as participate as part of SM Entertainment’s mixed group collaboration YOUNIQUE UNIT, and the company’s “supergroup,” SuperM. He made his solo debut in 2020, releasing his first mini album, self-titled KAI. Following the success of his debut album and title track “Mmmh,” the singer continued with viral success, namely for his song “Rover.”
Most recently, KAI released his fourth mini album, Wait On Me, in April. The album is his first release since he completed his mandatory military enlistment in February of this year.
