As part of her 2025 North American headlining tour, Another Great Day, Japanese singer LiSA performed at the YouTube Theater. The weeknight concert didn’t stop fans from showing up with lighsticks and merch in tow to fill up the venue and enjoy the show.
Already known for her powerful vocals and music, LiSA’s bright energy is what truly enthralled the audience during the live show. From the moment she stepped on stage, she was full of smiles, and energy was rolling off her. Jumping and dancing around the stage, the singer made sure to engage with fans in all spots, running from left to right and greeting fans on the second floor. For her song “GL,” she even brought one lucky fan onstage to give them her view of the audience, and during her encore finale performance of “best day, best way,” she ran through the crowd to greet everyone up close. Though some of her songs were slower or grungier, the singer still maintained her bubbly energy, smiling and laughing as the crowd cheered her on. At several points during the show, she took time to pause and soak in the outpouring of love and support from her fans by standing still and looking into the crowd with pure awe in her eyes.
When it came to the song selection for the concert, LiSA put together her very best, making sure to showcase her versatility. She treated fans to upbeat ones like “WiLD Candy,” as well as dark, slow tracks such as “unlasting.” Sultry songs such as “GL” and “RED ZONE” sent fans into a frenzy as the singer strutted across the stage, while fiercely swaying her hips.
Most well known for her countless anime songs, LiSA ended up saving the best for last: the final section of her concert was dedicated to a slew of anime tracks. She kicked this off with “Akeboshi (明け星)” from the Mugen Train Arc of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (鬼滅の刃). The bittersweet song was paired with memorable visuals from the anime on screen, showcasing Rengoku’s fight against Akaza, while Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Nezuko do their best to support. This set the tone, as fans quickly shot up in their seats, passionately waving their lightsticks and singing along. The crowd’s energy only increased steadily as the night went on.

Other songs included in this part of the show were “Homura (炎),” also from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (鬼滅の刃), “QUEEN,” the season two opening song for Shang-ri La Frontier (シャングリラ・フロンティア), “REALiZE,” the theme song for the Japanese version of Hollywood film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and “ReawakeR,” the opening song for season two of Solo Leveling. Rounding out this segment were two of the singer’s most popular songs, as evident by the enthusiastic response from the crowd. First was “ADAMAS,” the season one opening song for Sword Art Online (ソードアート・オンライン). “ADAMAS” is a fast-paced song with heavy bass, and its performance emphasized this further when LiSA beat a drum during the chorus, adding another layer to the band’s live playing and taking the crowd’s energy to new heights.
The last song of the section was “Gurenge (紅蓮華),” the opening song for season one of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (鬼滅の刃). While every other song in this section garnered loud cheers and singing, this performance had the crowd’s response shaking the walls. The audience jumped to their feet, steadily waving their lightsticks in sync with the music, and every person could be seen passionately singing along. At one point, the crowd even drowned out LiSA’s voice, singing together as one loud voice.
As the unforgettable night was approaching its end, the singer’s staff prepared one final surprise for her with birthday cupcakes and a birthday song. Expressing her sincerest gratitude to her fans, band, and staff, she left the stage with some final heartfelt words. “Thank you for waiting for me, thank you for singing with me, thank you for always supporting me, and thank you for loving Japanese anime,” she started. “I promise I will be back very soon.” With that said, she smiled brightly one last time before heading backstage and bringing the show to a close.
