Baekhyun Sweetly Serenades Las Vegas at ‘Reverie’ Tour Finale

K-pop soloist Baekhyun wrapped up the Reverie world tour with one final stop in Las Vegas on January 17. Drawing from a discography built over more than a decade, the singer showcased all aspects of his talent through soulful R&B, upbeat pop, and intense dance-centric tracks.

The singer began the night by taking the stage in a deep red velvet suit with black mesh underneath, and opened the show with a set of sleek and mature R&B tracks: “All I Got,” laced with high notes and harmonies, and his smooth solo debut song, “UN Village.” One of the best performances during this opening segment was “Cry For Love.” He momentarily stepped away from center stage to sing from a shadowed sofa, while two dancers took the spotlight. Baekhyun’s mesmerizing voice and the beautiful choreography captivated viewers. Despite the artist himself remaining on stage, cell phones that dotted the crowd could be seen recording his dancers instead, emphasizing how well this moment caught the audience’s attention. When he exited the stage through a light purple door at the end of this portion of the show, the same door appeared onscreen in a video that segued into the brighter tones of the next segment. This served as a storytelling device throughout the night, with Baekhyun using live-to-video transitions between sets.

At the end of this video, the singer returned to the stage wearing a simple black silk shirt and dress pants. Contrasting the preceding sultry R&B tracks, this portion of the show packaged his smooth R&B vocals with brighter melodies and more choreography. He performed upbeat R&B tracks like “Rendezvous” and “Good Morning,” during which he walked across the stage greeting fans. With that, the mood shifted once more towards the end of this segment, when dark red lights flooded the stage for the performance of EXO-CBX’s “Ringa-Ringa-Ring.” Through this performance, Baekhyun reminded the crowd he was more than just a leading vocalist, but also a sharp and powerful dancer. After the song came to an end, he himself said it best: “Yes, this is Baekhyun!”

After intense performances of “Cold Heart” and “Psycho,” a video played of the singer riding an elevator with a different version of himself. One was bright and youthful, while the other was dark and mature. Going up the elevator together, the dark version disappeared, leaving the bright version behind. Then, a third side of Baekhyun appeared: the playful pop star who hits high notes and vocal runs like nobody’s business, even while dancing. The stage lights turned back on to reveal a fresh and bright Baekhyun onstage, donning a varsity jacket with a backwards ball cap, ready to perform some high-energy pop tracks.

This segment kicked off with an unreleased song, “Magic on the Floor,” before moving straight into fan favorites, “Betcha” and “Candy.” For those who are fans of Baekhyun and his music with K-pop group EXO, this is the most familiar version of him. This triple combo had everyone on their feet, dancing and singing along. “Can you feel your stress going away, even just a little bit?” he asked, to which fans eagerly confirmed. The final song of the main setlist was “Elevator,” during which the singer surprised fans with a shower of his specially customized confetti featuring a blue paw print, representing his presence in EXO’s Beagle Line and his puppy-like personality. He later also treated fans to another burst of confetti, but this time featuring his pink self-designed Kkuru character pattern that added an even more personal touch. This small but thoughtful gesture, which he began in Seoul, gave fans something they could remember the show by, as fans collected the fluttering confetti.

No show is complete without an encore, and Baekhyun truly delivered one that made it a memorable night. He began the encore with HEARTSTEEL’s “Paranoia,” which showed off his powerful vocals, followed by a “cover of BoA’s Garden in the Air.” Holding an EXO lightstick on stage, he had fans follow along with his impromptu choreography during the song. During the bridge, he motioned for fans to put away their lightsticks for later. What followed was a beautiful moment: Baekhyun—whose EXO persona has the superpower of light—raised his lightstick, prompting fans to follow suit. Together, they illuminated the theater like a night sky, which was an especially meaningful moment during a song about finding a safe sanctuary.

Ending on a sentimental note, Baekhyun shared some heartfelt words to wrap up the night before his signature closing song, “Amusement Park.” “I truly hope you were able to have fun and relieve some of your stress, and I’m so grateful you chose to spend your valuable time with me. I’ll remember these moments forever, and I hope that everyone has a peaceful and fulfilling 2026,” he began. “Like an amusement park, we were able to make some precious memories here today. And, because I was able to relieve even a bit of stress for you, I have fulfilled my wish for today. I promise you I will be unchanging [in my love for you and in the memories we create] whenever I return, just like a familiar amusement park.”

Baekhyun is an artist who has persisted and thrived over the past decade. Growing alongside his fans, his music has evolved over the years, and the Reverie tour reflected this growth, offering a concert experience that felt both fresh yet familiar. While the show didn’t rely on extravagant production, it succeeded in highlighting who Baekhyun is and providing fans a comforting musical space.
