Virtual idol Hatsune Miku will be returning to the U.S. this spring for Miku Expo. In April and May, the famed virtual idol will hold 19 shows in 15 cities across North America.
Hatsune Miku is known as a 16-year-old girl with long, turquoise pigtails. In reality, she is a vocaloid created by Crypton. As the company’s first vocaloid, her name means “the first sound of the future.” Beyond vocaloids, she has become one of the most iconic figures in Japanese pop culture.
Hatsune Miku has performed on several stateside tours, and even performed as part of the lineup for the famed music festival, Coachella, in 2024. Ahead of Miku Expo 2026, Miku released the song “CONNECT:COMMUNE / FLAVOR FOLEY” as the tour’s theme song.
Ticketing information can be found on Hatsune Miku’s official Miku Expo website.
