Filipino American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo will kick off The Unraveled Tour in North America on September 25 in Hartford, Connecticut, before bringing it overseas in 2027. The Unraveled Tour supports her recently released third studio album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. This tour marks her second arena tour and the third world tour of her career.
Rodrigo began her musical journey through acting. She portrayed a guitarist for three seasons in Disney’s Bizaardvark. Later, she starred in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, where Rodrigo wrote her breakout song, “All I Want.” The song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and helped lead to her signing with Geffen Records.
In January 2021, Rodrigo released her official debut single, “drivers license,” which immediately broke Spotify’s record for the most streams in a single day for a non-holiday song. Three months later, she released her debut album, SOUR, which opened at number one on the Billboard 200 album charts. By the end of that year, SOUR was Spotify’s most-streamed album globally while “drivers license” was its most-streamed song.
In September 2023, Rodrigo released her second album, GUTS, and subsequently embarked on The GUTS World Tour, during which she realized her personal dream of performing in the Philippines. The concert, held in Manila, drew 55,000 fans making it her biggest headlining concert to-date.
