Mayday Announces One-Night-Only Show in Las Vegas on 25th Anniversary Tour

January 23, 2025

In commemoration of their 25th year anniversary, legendary Taiwanese band Mayday (五月天) will be holding a one-night-only concert in the U.S. Set for March 29th, this show will be the band’s first stateside stadium concert, taking place at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.

Although the band formed in 1997, it wasn’t until 1999 that they released their first album, suitably titled as Mayday’s First Album (第一張創作專輯). Their debut saw immediate commercial success, selling over 300,000 copies of their album, and they held their first concert shortly afterwards. They continued gaining popularity with each comeback, earning awards such as “Best Band” at the Golden Melody Awards and selling out domestic concerts in Taiwan.

In 2004, the rock band embarked on their first world tour, visiting various cities across Asia and North America. As the years passed, Mayday also continued to release new music, both for their own albums and for OSTs, and tour internationally. Most recently, the group embarked on their #5525 Back To That Day world tour and released a new song, “Willful,” as the title song for drama, The First Frost. The #5525 Back To That Day tour will bring the band to various large stadiums around the world, making them the first Mandarin rock artists to perform in venues such as Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium and Sydney’s Accor Stadium.
