Hwasa, soloist and MAMAMOO member, will embark on her first solo tour of the United States and Canada. Hwasa Live Tour (TWITS) in North America is set to begin on March 11, with 11 stops across the continent. She had previously toured North America with her group, but this marks her first solo outing. This tour, named after her debut solo single, “TWIT” and her fandom, “TWITS,” will support her most recent album, O.
Hwasa first debuted in 2014 as lead rapper and vocalist of MAMAMOO, a four-member girl group under RBW Entertainment. In 2019, she released her debut solo single, TWIT, which she co-wrote and co-produced. Since then, she has co-written and co-produced many of her singles including the eponymous track from her debut album, Maria.
Hwasa left RBW in 2023 following the expiration of her contract but remains a member of MAMAMOO. She has since signed with PSY’s label, P Nation. Upon release, O, topped the iTunes Charts in 13 countries. The title track, “NA”, co-written and co-produced by Hwasa, currently has over 35 million views on Youtube.
