Han So Hee’s 1st U.S. Fanmeeting: A Love Letter to Her Fans

August 31, 2025

On her fanmeeting world tour, actress Han So Hee visited Los Angeles’ Wilshire Ebell Theater on a warm Saturday evening. The 90-minute event was filled with memorable moments for both the actress and her passionate fans. The night began with a raffle for nine lucky fans to participate in an undisclosed game that would happen later in the evening. The fanmeeting was split into five segments, each one revolving around a different aspect of Han.

The first segment focused on Han’s acting career, highlighting three scenes in various dramas, as chosen by her fans. As they played each scene on the screen, the actress also shared some behind-the-scenes tidbits about each show. When watching the scene where Jiwoo witnesses an assailant attacking her father in My Name, she revealed that this was the first scene they recorded from the show, and that the intensity from this scene is what helped her comfortably get into the mindset of Jiwoo. The next scene was from Nevertheless, where Na-bi breaks up with Jae-eon despite having feelings for him. Watching this, Han shared that while she could relate very well to Na-bi, it brought back many memories of how stupid and innocent the character was. She also revealed that her fine arts background helped her immerse herself in this role, as all the sketching scenes were actually her own hand-drawn sketches. The third and final scene was from Gyeongseong Creature featuring Chae-ok face the attack from Seishin instead of Tae-sang. For Sohee, rewatching this reminded her how difficult it was to film. “It was the final scene we filmed, and it was so cold I couldn’t concentrate,” she began. “Also, the creature was my mom in the show, but [when filming], she was just green because it was a green screen for CGI. That made it a bit hard to immerse myself in the moment and the character.” Han’s personal anecdotes revealed another fun layer to the scenes and characters she portrayed.

The next segment was titled “Xohee’s AWARDS,” during which the actress began to test how well her fans knew her. The fans voted prior to the start of the fanmeeting on three subjects, and here they would learn if they chose the same answer as her. Among her roles in World of the Married, Nevertheless, My Name, and Gyeongseong Creature, fans and Han both selected My Name as the character she was most attached to. “My fans must like to see me fight,” she shared with a laugh, showing off a playful, joking side to her not often seen in her dramas. “For me, it’s because Jiwoo is such a fearless character. I was able to immerse myself 100% both physically and mentally, and I have so much love for her as a character.” Next, fans guessed which Disney princess she’d choose to portray in a live action project out of Elsa (Frozen), Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Snow White, or Jasmine (Aladdin). Though fans guessed Elsa, Sohee actually chose Ariel, surprising the audience. “It may sound a bit weird, but I want to live in the water. I would like to live by the beach or the pier with my friends at least once in this lifetime, [so I chose Ariel]. But, realistically, it’d probably have to be Elsa because she fights well.”

The last question was about what Han would be interested in eating in the U.S. out of LA BCD Tofu House, a hamburger and fries, a chili cheese hot dog, or a California roll. Both the actress and her fans selected LA BCD Tofu House, with the actress sharing that she’d actually already gone. “I do love hamburgers, and I waited for the moment to eat them here in the U.S., but right now, I can’t eat flour. We went to BCD last night, and I ate a lot, including LA Galbi.”

Transitioning to segment three, Han prepared a special dance performance, covering JENNIE’s “Seoul City” and aespa’s “Whiplash” with a shy charm. “I’m so sorry for that performance,” she started with a laugh, before her fans reassured her it was great. “You don’t have to lie to me! I really did practice a lot, but I got too nervous.” After the actress took a moment to catch her breath, she returned to the stage once more for another game, ALL About Xohee : YES or NO! This game had fans testing their knowledge on So Hee once again, but this time each fan began standing up and answering yes or no questions. If you were incorrect, you were eliminated and would sit down. Four fans answered the final question, but only one answered correctly. The winning fan answered all seven questions. Teasing the audience, she expressed her surprise. “I thought you all would know me better,” she exclaimed with a laugh.

Segment four would bring the previously selected nine fans on stage for a drawing game, where fans had to draw in relay for Han to guess what they were drawing. This game flew by with three minutes of time allotted per team, and soon enough, it was time for segment five of the show—the end. The last segment was “Xohee’s MUST-DO List,” which had the actress reading off post it notes with wishes from fans. Although the MC and actress had anticipated that this would involve requests for fan service, the vast majority of the messages were actually well wishes for the actress, a sweet surprise showing her fans’ caring hearts. Each one was a different iteration of hoping Han would be happy, be healthy, and to remember how loved she is. Taken aback, the actress even jokingly asked the audience if she looked too sad.

Not just leaving it at that, fans even prepared a surprise video project for the actress, compiling letters to her that were similar to the post it notes during the last segment. Nearly moved to tears, Han took some a moment to share her thoughts. “I feel this way after every fanmeeting I do, but my fans are truly so eloquent, expressive, and supportive. These messages and tonight with you have been so genuine, it felt like a discussion and game night with friends.”

On the name of the fanmeeting tour, Xohee Loved Ones, Han shared, “I came up with the title of the fanmeeting because my fans are so precious to me, and I wanted to create precious and loving memories for them as well.” Regarding why that was important to her, her answer was simple: “The reason I am here is because of these treasured fans.”
