Marz23 will be embarking on his rescheduled U.S. tour in March 2024. Originally slated for August 2023, the Not So Far Away world tour will finally make its way to North America, starting on the West Coast in San Francisco and Los Angeles, before moving northeast to Toronto and New York.
Born and raised in Yunlin County, Taiwan, Marz23 debuted in 2009 as the lead singer and guitarist of TRASH Band. The singer is born from a family of performers, as his father is Taiwanese comedian, host, and actor Andy Lin (安迪), and his sister is Taiwanese singer and actress Zowie Lin (林吟蔚).
Marz23 started his career by releasing a series of singles, including popular song “Not A Rapper (我不是饒舌歌手),” and released his first album, 23, in August 2020. After 23, the singer’s next release was in April 2023, when he dropped his second album, not so far away (不遠處), with the title track of the same name. His sophomore album boasts 12 tracks, with a variety of sub-genres to his pop-punk style, and collaboration songs with artists such as Mo Zaiyang (莫宰羊), SMARTDEATH, and ØZI. Most recently, Marz23 welcomed his first child into the world late summer 2023, and has spent the following months performing through the Taiwanese festival circuit with TRASH Band.
