Korean singer and actor Seo In Guk is embarking on a U.S. fan meeting tour this April. To commemorate his career and greet his U.S. fans personally for the first time, the actor will visit Washington D.C. and Los Angeles, heading to both the east and west coast on his two-stop tour.
Although best known for his acting, Seo In Guk actually made his debut in 2009 as a singer, after winning the first season of singing competition show, Superstar K. A jack of all trades, he saw immediate success as a singer, winning the Male Newcomer of the Year Award at the 2009 Cyworld Digital Music Awards, and reaching number seven on the Gaon Album Chart with his first single album.
In 2012, Seo In Guk made his acting debut, playing a supporting character in Love Rain. A few months later, he was cast as Yoon Yoon Jae in Reply 1997, changing the course of his career with this one role. Reply 1997 saw overwhelmingly positive feedback from both critics and the general public, and from then on, the actor began to play more and more lead characters in a variety of dramas and films such as Doom at Your Service, Cafe Minamdang, and Pipeline. Most recently, the actor starred in TVING’s Death’s Game, a drama based off of a popular webtoon of the same name.
Fan meeting tickets go on sale Friday, February 23 at 8 p.m. local time here.Â
