K-pop exhibition D’FESTA LA will take place at The Source in Buena Park from June 21 to August 18. It boasts immersive and interactive experiences for K-pop fans. The first D’FESTA took place in 2019 in South Korea, featuring content from some of K-pop’s biggest active groups. This summer marks the exhibition’s first stateside run.
D’FESTA LA will feature nine K-pop groups: BTS, ENHYPEN, NCT127, NCT DREAM, NU’EST, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, TWICE, and TXT (TOMORROW x TOGETHER). Designed to give fans a closer look into K-pop, the installation is made up of three parts: The Experience, The Movie, and The Exhibition. The Experience enables fans to enter a virtual stage created with digital art to shoot videos, leave messages for their favorite artists on a sign wall, use photo booths, buy merchandise, and more. The Movie features 40 minutes of performances from various K-pop groups. The Exhibition displays over 290 portraits of K-pop groups.
