Japanese indie trio Lamp is set to perform 17 shows across North America this fall. With many of the stops selling out soon after tickets were released, the band added two extra stops in Los Angeles and San Francisco. While Lamp experienced a sudden surge in international popularity from going viral in social media in 2021, they have always prioritized authenticity over following popular trends. The band blends jazz, neo-folk, bossa nova, soft rock, and Japanese pop into a gentle, ethereal sound. In 2023, they released their latest album, Dusk to Dawn, a voluminous 20-track release that takes a more unfiltered approach while retaining the band’s experimentation and characteristically dreamline sound.
