Multi-talented Hong Kong native Aaron Kwok (郭富城) will be performing two shows in the U.S. this December. The soloist is slated to perform two concerts in California as part of his 2024 world tour, ICONIC. Debuting in the 1980s, Kwok is the “God of Dance” from the famed “Four Heavenly Kings (四大天王),” along with Jacky Cheung (張學友), Andy Lau (劉德華), and Leon Lai (黎明). Making his entertainment debut as a dancer in various shows and music videos, he didn’t get his start as a singer until 1990, when he filmed a TV commercial in Taiwan for a Honda motorcycle. Seeing his first bout of success in Taiwan, the singer released several albums and songs, including “Loving You Forever (對你愛不完),” before returning to Hong Kong to further pursue his music career.
Quickly gaining worldwide fame, Kwok collaborated with Western artists such as Janet Jackson and Ricky Martin at a time when Western and Eastern collaborations were not as common. As the years have gone by, the artist has also taken to acting, even winning an award for Best Actor for his role in Port of Call in 2016. In September of this year, Kwok released new music for the first time in over 10 years with his single “You (您).”
