BABYMONSTER Announces 2 U.S. Stops on First World Tour, ‘HELLO MONSTER’

December 11, 2024

BABYMONSTER will be visiting the U.S. as part of their first world tour, HELLO MONSTER. Despite this being the group’s first time touring stateside, they will be headlining at two impressive arenas – one on each coast. The U.S. leg of the tour will kick off on February 28 in Newark at Prudential Center, before moving west to wrap up on March 2 in Los Angeles at Kia Forum.

Prior to their official debut, the group had already garnered attention with pre-debut singles “BATTER UP” and “Stuck in the Middle,” as well as the members’ various pre-debut activities. For example, Ruka was originally part of Japanese girl group Shibu3 Project, and Rora was part of kid-girl group U.SSO Girl. The seven members made their official group debut in April this year with their first EP, [BABMONS7ER], and title track “SHEESH,” setting and breaking records from the get-go. “SHEESH” stayed on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global Chart for more than two months straight, and reached nearly 25 million views with its music video within just 24 hours.

Most recently, the group released their first full-length album, [DRIP], just last month. The album debuted on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, and the title track of the same name also debuted in Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart and their Global 200 chart. “Drip” was composed by fellow YG Entertainment star G-Dragon, and the music video for the song has over 135 million views at time of press.

Tickets for the tour go on sale next Wednesday, December 18, at 3pm local time. More information can be found on LiveNation.com.
