JENNIE Showcases Debut Solo Album at ‘The Ruby Experience’

February 3, 2025

JENNIE announced the March 7 release of her first solo album, Ruby. To celebrate the album’s release, the BLACKPINK member will also hold three live events in the U.S. titled “The Ruby Experience.” The festivities will kick off in Los Angeles before moving east to New York, and wrapping up in Seoul.

The singer first stepped into the public eye in 2012 through YG Entertainment’s “YG Trainee – Jennie Kim” covers, an appearance in G-Dragon’s “That XX” music video, and features in songs such as G-Dragon’s “Black” and Lee Hi’s “Special.” Then, four years later, she debuted in BLACKPINK alongside members Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé. The group’s dual title song debut, “Boombayah” and “Whistle,” immediately caught the attention of the public, topping charts in the U.S. and South Korea. With each musical release, the group continued to top charts.

In November 2018, JENNIE released her first solo single, suitably titled “Solo.” Proving her starpower, the track topped digital charts worldwide, and it even won awards such as Song of the Year. The singer has been steadily revealing music that’ll be part of her first solo album, including “Mantra,” “Zen,” and “Love Hangover.”
