After her recent performance at San Diego Comic Con 2024, Japanese singer-songwriter LiSA will be returning to North America, this time for her own headlining tour. The LiSA — Another Great Day tour will bring the J-pop sensation from coast to coast, performing three shows across North America.
With a strong love for music, LiSA began her music career as the lead singer for indie band Chucky. Once the band broke up, the singer moved to Tokyo to continue pursuing her music career. In 2010, she released her first anime opening song for the series Angel Beats! From there, she began to expand her anime music discography for series, including Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, and Sword Art Online. Her first song for Demon Slayer titled “Gurenge (紅蓮華)” was the first single by a female artist to surpass one million downloads in the history of Oricon’s digital single ranking chart, and the third single overall to do so.
In 2023, LiSA released the song “REALiZE” for the Japanese-dubbed version of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and later the same year, she collaborated with K-pop group Stray Kids on their song “Social Path.” Most recently, the Japanese singer collaborated with Stray Kids’ Felix for “Reawaker,” the opening track for season two of anime Solo Leveling.
