Vietnamese American singer Dolly Ave will be embarking on her very first solo U.S. tour titled Don’t Wanna Turn Back this summer. Kicking off on the west coast in Santa Ana on July 8, the tour will take the singer across Southern California and Arizona, move east through New York and Pennsylvania, and wrap up in Washington D.C. mid-August.
Dolly Ave offers listeners a blend of alternative rock and emotional pop. Though she’s relatively new to the music scene, she’s seen airplay on local radio channels such as 103.5 KISS FM Chicago and ALT 98.7 in Los Angeles. She’s also performed various festivals, and has been featured in Rolling Stone, Billboard, and Harper’s Bazaar, among others. Her debut EP, Sleep, features a collection of lo-fi tracks that tell the story of a relationship.
Most recently, the singer released “Bad Brain,” the title track of her upcoming sophomore album.
