Taiwanese band Sunset Rollercoaster (落日飛車) has announced the North American leg of their Q COMES Q GOES world tour. This September and October, the five-piece band is set to visit Toronto, Boston, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Vancouver on the North American leg.
Known for their romantic, city-pop style music, Sunset Rollercoaster is a Taiwanese synth-pop band comprised of vocalist and guitarist Kuo-Hung Tseng (曾國宏), bassist Hung-Li Chen (陳弘禮), keyboardist Shao-Hsuan Wang (王少軒), drummer Tsun-Lung Lo (羅尊龍), and saxophonist Hao-Ting Huang (黃浩庭). The band first formed in 2009, released their first album, Bossa Nova, in 2011, and decided to call it quits. However, in 2015, the band re-formed, and in 2018, they released their second album, Cassa Nova.
Since then, the band has continued to release music and hit the festival circuit worldwide. The band has performed at Japan’s Fuji Rock and the US’ Coachella, and has also sold out tours across Asia, Europe, and the U.S. They released their most recent album, QUIT QUIETLY, in August 2025, and this tour is in celebration of the album, which reached the Top 200 on the 2025 US NACC albums chart and hit over one million streams on Spotify just on release day.
