Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Crew will be heading to Los Angeles this summer. The inaugural ONE PIECE Fest, set at the Cosm Los Angeles, will take place on Tuesday, August 25 and Wednesday, August 26. This will be the first time Toei Animation has held a festival in celebration of the decades-long anime in the U.S.
One Piece Day is an annual worldwide celebration held on July 22 to honor the anniversary of the One Piece manga, and ONE PIECE Fest was timed around the same period. This one-of-a-kind event will feature a specially produced immersive “Elbaph Experience” in The Dome (Cosm Los Angeles’ wall of screens), panels, performances, activations, exclusive merchandise and more. Ticket purchases were permitted based on a lottery format from their website.
An estimated total of 7,000 fans will be able to attend and enjoy ONE PIECE Fest, with four sessions across two days that will accommodate 1,750 fans each. ONE PIECE Fest 2026 will also feature special guests, including English voice actors and Japanese musical artists, who will be announced later.
One Piece set sail in 1997, and has become one of the most popular modern anime and manga series. The anime and manga are both still ongoing, with the most recent Elbaph Arc having premiered on April 5, and the series also has a live action iteration on Netflix.
