South Korean indie band Wave to Earth will launch The Pieces Tour this fall, touching down first in North America before setting course for Asia. This marks their first stateside tour since the 2023 North America Tour. Wave to Earth will be promoting their upcoming album Bad Pieces, set for release on August 7.
Wave to Earth first formed when guitarist Daniel Kim and drummer Dong-gyu Shin were just middle school students. They finalized their lineup with the addition of bassist John Cha and released their debut single, “wave” in the summer of 2019. After releasing two EPs in 2020, they were signed by WAVY in 2021. In 2023, they released their first full-length album, 0.1 Flaws and All along with an accompanying Youtube documentary highlighting the band’s creative process behind the album.
The album garnered massive critical and commercial success, domestically and internationally. In 2024, the album was nominated for Best Modern Rock Album at the Korean Music Awards and the band received a Musician of the Year nomination as well. In 2025, they won the Band Award at the Seoul Music Awards. Globally, they sold out all 58 dates on their 2023 North America Tour, performed at multiple Lollapalooza festivals, and have amassed over 9 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
The North American leg of The Pieces Tour begins on September 4 in Vancouver, British Columbia and concludes on October 11 in Dallas, Texas. Ticket information for The Pieces Tour can be found here.
