Australian indie rock band Last Dinosaurs will be returning to the U.S. for a West Coast tour this fall. Beginning in San Diego, the tour will take the band across California, to Nevada, and to Hawaii to wrap up.
Last Dinosaurs is a band from Brisbane, Queensland that began to release music in 2007. Lead vocalists and guitarists Sean and Lachlan Caskey are Australian-Japanese, naturally weaving their heritage into their music. The band’s name is inspired by a song of the same name by Japanese rock band The Pillows. The final member of the band is their friend and bassist, Michael Sloane.
In 2010, the band released their first EP, Back from the Dead. In 2012, they released their first full studio album, In A Million Years. Since then they’ve continued to release music and tour the world. Most recently, the trio released their sixth album, Wellnxss, in February of this year. The album is a remake of their 2015 album, Wellness, with five new songs.
