K-pop boy group MONSTA X will be returning to North America as part of their [THE X : NEXUS] World Tour this summer and fall. The group will visit the East Coast first, kicking off their tour in Fairfax before moving west to wrap up in Seattle. Five members of MONSTA X will participate on this tour: SHOWNU, MINHYUK, KIHYUN, HYUNGWON, and JOOHONEY. The youngest member I.M is currently completing his mandatory enlistment.
MONSTA X first debuted in 2015 with their song “Trespass,” though they were already known to the public from their survival debut show, No.Mercy. Since then, the group has continued to release music of various genres, gaining international attention and earning them awards such as the 2015 MAMA award for Next Generation Asian Artist. In 2019, the group released their first English track, “Play It Cool,” which was a collaboration with Steve Aoki. The group went on to release “Who Do U Love?,” featuring French Montana, and continued their overseas expansion with the release of Spanish song “Magnetic” in collaboration with Colombian singer Sebastián Yatra the same year.
In 2020, MONSTA X released their first full English album, All About Luv, and in 2021, they released their second full English album, The Dreaming. The members began to fulfill their mandatory military enlistments, though the group continued to tour and release Korean albums. As members enlisted, the active members formed units and made solo debuts. In September 2025, the group made their long awaited full group comeback, releasing their 13th EP, The X, along with title track “N the Front” and pre-release track “Do What I Want.” Most recently, the group participated in several stops of last year’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour once more, and released their third full English album, Unfold, in April.
