Onew will be setting off on his first ever solo stateside tour this spring. The soloist will start his eight-stop tour in New York in April, move west, and wrap up in Los Angeles at the beginning of May.
Onew first debuted in 2008 as the leader of SHINee, with their song “Replay.” Since then, the singer continued to release music with his group, winning countless awards and music shows, and touring together. 10 years after SHINee’s debut, Onew released his first solo EP, Voice, with lead single “Blue.” From there, the soloist embarked on his first solo tour within Asia, starred in musicals, and continued to release music with SHINee.
After returning from his mandatory military enlistment, the singer went on a brief hiatus in 2024 for health reasons under a new agency, Griffin Entertainment. Onew then re-joined his SHINee members on their SHINee World VI Perfect Illumination: SHINee’s Back tour, and in September, he released his third solo EP, Flow.
In January of this year, Onew released his fourth EP, Connection, with lead single “Winner,” and he kicked off his first solo world tour. The Asia leg of the tour began in Japan with shows in South Korea, Taiwan, and Macau, and the U.S. leg of the tour will be up next.
