NiNi Music Announces ‘East Goes West’ U.S. Tour

February 26, 2026

NiNi Music will make its first stateside tour, alongside supporting act BOTCASH. The tour, suitably titled East Goes West, will bring the band to the US’ west coast. Taking place in April, the nine-stop tour will begin in Phoenix and end in Denver.

NiNi is a Taiwanese musician who spent years honing her skills in the traditional Chinese folk instruments such as ruǎn (阮) and liǔqín (柳琴). In 2022, NiNi even worked together with Blackworm Instruments to design, crowdfund, and create her new signature instrument, the DāoYù (刀玉). The DāoYù takes inspiration from Chinese folklore and legends, as well as other instruments like the èrhú (二胡) and ruǎn.

In 2024, NiNi formed her band (which currently performs under her same moniker, NiNi Music), and they quickly became known for their unique sound that blends heavy metal, rock, and EDM with the traditional sounds of her ruǎn and liǔqín. That same year, the musician also went on America’s Got Talent, where she showcased her DāoYù and impressed the audience enough to earn the nicknames “NiNi Hendrix” and “NiNi Van Halen.”

In 2026, NiNi performed at the halftime show during an Oklahoma Thunder NBA game, and in January of this year, she released her latest song, “Victorious,” featuring Tuvan and Mongolian throat singer, KUULAR.

Tickets for NiNi Music’s tour are on sale now, and can be found on her website.
